WSBiF also cooperates closely with the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice and Silesian Managers Association in Katowice.Great importance is attached to collaboration with the University of Economics in Katowice which resulted in the accord signed on 2 March 1999. The objectives of this cooperation are: to exchange classes and lectures between cooperating schools,to provide teachers with the possibility to take part in conferences organized by particular schools, to provide students with the possibility of doing training courses in the countries of cooperating schools,to carry out joint scientific research, to exchange publications. In 2006 WSBiF proceeded to participate in the ERASMUS program, which aimed to improve the quality of education in the participating countries through the development of international cooperation between universities and the mobility of students and staff in higher education. Conditions of study
One of the most important objectives set by the management of the School is providing the students with conditions that could encourage them to work efficiently. The first step to achieve this was the concept of a school occupying a small but rationally used space in one building. The School guarantees its students comfortable studying conditions by making available computer rooms and modern lecture theatres as well as other facilities. Students can further develop their knowledge and skills in a well stocked library. The building is located in the centre of Katowice, in close proximity to bus stops, a short distance from the railway and tram lines. The proximity of the centre is a huge asset, especially for students living in other cities and using public transport. WSBiF didactic facilities include:2 large lecture rooms of 70 seats each, 2 lecture rooms with 60 seats each, 7 rooms for classes with audiovisual equipment, 2 seminar rooms, computer rooms, language laboratory The school houses a well-equipped photocopying room providing services for students. It is also used widely by the staff of the school to print didactic materials prepared by them. WSBiF as an Examination Centre of LCCI
WSBiF attaches particular importance to teaching and learning foreign languages. It provides students with conversation classes, where they discuss current economic and political issues as well as carry out simulations of business meetings, negotiations, presentations and interviews. As improving qualifications is a key to success in the professional world the School organizes examinations which enable obtaining internationally recognized certificates. London Chamber of Commerce and Industry International Qualifications is an institution which makes business related vocational qualifications available internationally including English for Business Examination certificates. WSBiF, as a registered LCCI IQ centre, has the right to administer all its examinations with English for Business (EfB) most frequently taken. This certificate is a proof of having practical English communication skills needed to function in today's business world.
